The reasons for this are not known but are definitely though to be effective. The petroleum jelly is able to get rid of not only the lice, but they are killed so quickly, there isn’t much of a chance for nits to be implanted into the hair.
Neem paste is said to be one of the best natural cures for head louse as the Neem tree is world famous for its insect repellant properties. There is no way any lice will be caught a mile around any place where Neem is found. The Neem can be applied as a paste to the hair or in bath water where Neem leaves have been boiled. The lice do happen to infiltrate the hair, Neem paste is sure to do its job in making sure they don’t stick around for long. Of course like any method, this is not totally fool proof but it’s definitely worth practicing.
There are many other natural cures for head lice, many of them are sworn to work by people who say they’ve tried and tested them. The bottom line is that it’s impossible to prevent head lice, and using a natural cure for head lice is taking a gamble. If you’re willing to test different methods while you have a lice infestation, it’s something that can save you money and time in the future as long as you’re successful.
